Regardless of how many Promis Life guaranteed acceptance products you take out, the total cover amount for each life insured cannot exceed £20,000 (not including Inflation Fighter increases).
Level Premium – This may be a suitable option if you want to lock in your rate from the start. Premiums are more expensive at the start (compared with Increasing Premiums) but are guaranteed not to go up throughout the life of the Plan (unless you choose Inflation Fighter).
Increasing Premium – This may be a suitable option if you want the lowest possible starting premium. Premiums are cheaper at the start (compared to Level Premiums) but go up by 3% every year (without Inflation Fighter). You can switch to a Level Premium at a later date if you wish but this could impact your premium or amount of cover.
If selected, Inflation Fighter increases your amount of cover by a fixed 3% each year until you reach age 90.
If you have chosen Level Premiums and Inflation Fighter, your premium will increase by 4.5% each year because you are getting more cover each year. If you have chosen Increasing Premiums and Inflation Fighter, your premium will increase by 7.5% each year.
If you would like a premium that remains level and never goes up, you should choose Level Premium without Inflation Fighter.
Regardless of how many Promis Life guaranteed acceptance products you take out, the total cover amount for each life insured cannot exceed £20,000 (not including Inflation Fighter increases).
We’ll need the completed claim form, proof of the claimant's identity e.g. a certified copy of their current passport or photocard driver's licence and, if they have it, the original plan schedule is really helpful.
If there is no joint owner of the plan, then the claimant can send a certified copy of the Grant of Representation and/or Last Will and Testament if either exist.
If a claim is made for a non-accidental death during the Accidental Death Period, we’ll pay a full refund of all premiums. However, after the Accidental Death Period you’re covered for any cause of death, including accident, illness or natural causes.
Funerals can be expensive with the average cost of dying adding up to nearly £5,500†! Most people simply don't know it. That’s because it's not something we think about…until we suffer a death in the family.
